Policies & Client Agreement
Please review the following policies carefully before booking a photography session with Flicks From Chii Photography. By booking a session and submitting payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Image Sharing & Unedited Photographs
All unedited, RAW, and unfinished photographs remain the exclusive work product of Flicks From Chii Photography. Clients are not permitted to post, distribute, reproduce, edit, apply filters to, or otherwise publicly share unedited photographs or previews without prior written authorization from the photographer.
Only the final edited images delivered by Flicks From Chii Photography may be shared publicly unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Unauthorized posting or distribution of unedited photographs may result in a $50 contractual fee per occurrence, where permitted by applicable law. The photographer reserves the right to request the removal of unauthorized images and pursue other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
2. Booking Retainer & Payment Policy
A 30% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure the client's selected date and time. The retainer will be applied toward the total package price and compensates the photographer for reserving the appointment and declining other potential bookings for that time.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the scheduled session date. For events, the final payment must be received by the payment deadline specified in the signed contract.
If the final balance is not received by the required deadline, Flicks From Chii Photography reserves the right to withhold photography services until payment is completed. The photographer is not obligated to attend or perform the session while an outstanding balance remains unpaid.
A booking is not considered secured until the required retainer has been received and the booking has been confirmed by the photographer.
3. Session Fee & Included Services
The selected photography package covers the photographer's time, professional expertise, creative direction, photography services, and the editing and retouching of the images included in the package.
The number of final edited photographs delivered will depend on the package selected and the terms agreed upon at booking.
Final photographs will be delivered digitally through Dropbox, an online gallery, or another file-delivery service selected by the photographer. Clients are responsible for downloading and securely backing up their delivered images within the availability period provided by the applicable platform.
RAW files, unedited images, and unfinished photographs are not included unless explicitly stated in writing as part of the agreed package.
4. Image Selection & Retouching
Within 24–48 hours after the session, the client will receive a selection gallery or folder containing photographs from which to choose the images included in their package.
The client must submit their image selections to the photographer within 48 hours of receiving the selection gallery. Timely selection is necessary to maintain the stated editing and delivery schedule.
If selections are not submitted within the specified period, the delivery timeline may be extended accordingly. The photographer may contact the client to confirm selections or establish a revised timeline.
Standard editing and retouching will be completed at the photographer's professional discretion and in accordance with the photographer's established artistic style. Extensive alterations, advanced compositing, or requests beyond the included editing services may incur additional charges.
5. Additional Retouching
Additional retouching beyond the number of images included in the selected package is available for $25 per photograph.
Additional retouching requests must be communicated clearly and approved by the photographer before the work begins. Payment for additional retouching must be completed according to the invoice or payment instructions provided.
Requests involving extensive manipulation, significant changes to the original photograph, or specialized editing may require a separate quote.
6. Additional Outfit Policy
Clients may add one additional outfit for $50, subject to the session's scheduled duration and the photographer's availability.
The additional outfit fee covers the opportunity to photograph the client in one extra look during the scheduled session. Clients are responsible for bringing their outfits, accessories, and any other personal styling items needed for the change.
Clients should arrive prepared and ensure that outfit changes can be completed within the allotted session time. Additional outfits do not automatically extend the scheduled session duration.
If an outfit change requires additional shooting time beyond the original booking, additional fees may apply with the client's approval.
Additional outfits must be requested before the session and are subject to approval by Flicks From Chii Photography.
7. Editing & Delivery Timeline
Flicks From Chii Photography is committed to delivering high-quality images within the following estimated timeframes:
Portraits, graduations, engagements, and standard sessions: 7–10 business days.
Events and extended coverage: 10–20 business days.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Delivery timelines begin after the client has submitted their image selections and fulfilled any applicable requirements necessary for editing to begin.
These timelines are estimates and may be affected by unusually high booking volume, unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or delayed client selections. If a significant delay occurs, the photographer will communicate any necessary timeline adjustments.
Final images will be delivered electronically through the designated delivery platform.
8. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for arriving on time, preparing their outfits and personal items, communicating their preferences in advance, and following the agreed session schedule.
Late arrivals may reduce the time available for photography and may affect the number of images captured. The photographer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays when possible, but additional time is not guaranteed.
Clients are encouraged to communicate any special requests, accessibility needs, location restrictions, or other important details before their scheduled session.
9. Agreement to Policies
By booking a photography session with Flicks From Chii Photography, submitting the required retainer, or signing the applicable photography contract, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to these policies.
These policies should be read together with the client's signed photography contract and selected package details. Where a separate signed agreement contains different terms, the applicable contract will govern to the extent permitted by law.
